Wow! What a transformation. Lowell and Diana wanted to update their Master Bathroom. They wanted a walk in shower with no door. Since they had only used their tub a few times in all the years they had lived there, Padgett Building’s designer was able to use that space to create the larger shower and an open feel. Note the attention to detail on the glass tile at the Silestone vanity top and the entry to the shower. Lowell’s only real request was the rain head shower!
Richard and Sylvia wanted to update their master bath. They really wanted more vanity space and a larger shower. Padgett’s design team swapped the locations of the shower and toilet. The bathroom door was relocated and the wish list was accomplished. It is fun taking the wants and needs of the client and transforming the existing space into the bathroom of their dreams!
Project Description and the Steps to Accomplish the Results
Like many home owners this family wishes they would have done things a little differently in their master bath when they built their home. With so many decisions to be made during the home construction, they just accepted the layout the way it was. With the kids out of the house it was time to get what they wanted.
The shower was right inside the door and the corner soaker tub was never used so it was time for a new design. After a few ideas were kicked around their daughter offered a great creative design solution and the rest is history. The curb less walk in tile shower was placed on the other side of the space and was almost doubled in size, the rain dump feature for him and a separate handheld for her. “We love the Shower Guard coating applied to the stationary glass panel. We never knew it would be that easy to keep clean.” His and her vanities with granite counter tops and framed mirrors book end the large window and the drop down make up area. The use of custom cabinets allowed for a built in TV in the full height corner cabinets allowing them to catch up with the news in the morning as they prepare for their day. And finally warming up the space is the heated ceramic tile floor with a custom air vent.
This bathroom was fully remodeled to bring in a fresh look.
