These homeowners wanted to update their kitchen without going through an entire remodel. We gave this kitchen a facelift by removing all of the original cabinet doors and installing new shaker style doors. We also removed the old laminate countertops and installed solid surface quartz tops, removed the old laminate flooring and installed new Alterna tile flooring, and we updated the lighting by installing 8 can lights throughout the kitchen. We finished with a fresh coat of paint on all of the cabinets and walls.

The homeowner wanted a better functioning and modern looking kitchen.  They also had dreams of having a new dining area, new hall bath and new laundry room.  A past client of Padgett Building & Remodeling referred us to this family for the project.  We removed all cabinets, flooring and appliances from all rooms. We painted, replaced flooring and trim in all rooms and added a laundry sink and ice machine in the laundry room. In the kitchen, we added all new custom cabinets and commercial style appliances. In our design we had all stainless appliances such as dishwashers, duel fuel range, range hood, built-in double wall oven, ice maker, microwave and refrigerator. The design and remodel were exactly what they wanted and the family was extremely happy with their new kitchen.

This dream kitchen was made possible through a creative hand of architecture and engineering design.  A mud room was removed from the rear of the home and walls were bumped out to create a kitchen.  It was necessary to add large steel beams to remove existing exterior walls in making this old back porch into a spacious open kitchen and create a butler’s pantry in the existing kitchen.  Custom cabinets made of hard maple and cherry with shaker style doors and beaded front frames topped with Honed Mountain White Danby marble were installed.  The backsplash features hand painted tile.    Stainless steel appliances included refrigerated drawers, warming drawers and ice machine.  Ann Sacks Terra Cotta tile and Provincial Hickory hardwood covered the new floors.  Custom wood wrapped beams covered the 10’ ceiling.   The roof on the kitchen ties in the exterior and also adds a French country style pop to the rear patio area.
